It starts with what you tell us.

A stone inherited from a grandmother. A date. A colour someone always wears. A piece seen years ago and never forgotten. Every bespoke commission begins with something personal, and our first task is simply to listen.

We then draw, source, and make. You see each stage. You change your mind if you wish. The result is a piece that exists once, made for one person, and the story of how it came to be is part of what you own.

The process

Five stages, at your pace.

  1. I

    Conversation

    We meet, in person or by video, and talk. About the person, the occasion, the budget, the things you like and dislike. Bring pictures, or bring nothing at all.

  2. II

    Stone selection

    Diamonds and coloured stones are sourced to your brief and presented together, with their certificates. Or we build the design around a stone you already own.

  3. III

    Design

    Hand drawings first, then precise renderings. Proportions, metal, setting style, the way it will sit on the hand or at the neck. We refine until it is right.

  4. IV

    Craftsmanship

    The piece is made in the Danelian atelier and by the specialist setters and polishers we trust. Progress is shared with you along the way.

  5. V

    Final piece

    Presented in person, with its certificates and a record of its making. Fitted, adjusted, and yours.
